WSOP Online Card Strike Promo Guide: Have Fun & Pick up Some Extra Cash (2024)

Poker sites are always looking for promotions that keep players interested and give them reasons to keep playing. Card Strike is one of the more popular such promotions available to all WSOP Online cash game players.

In the simplest of terms, Card Strike is a bingo-style mini-game that awards up to $25,000. It is available to cash game players across all stakes, with bigger prizes on offer at higher limits.

A great thing about this WSOP Online promo is that it doesn’t require players to do anything other than play at their usual stakes. As you do so, you’ll strike off cards from a bingo-style board by matching them to your hole cards. Strike off all the cards within a certain number of hands, and you get a shot at a prize.

You can now proceed to sit down at any cash game table, and in addition to the usual elements, you’ll also see the Card Strike board showing at the top of the table. The board will display random cards that you need to cross out, and the way to do it is by getting dealt one of the cards shown on the board.

So, if you’re dealt the As and if there is the As on the Card Strike board, it will be crossed out.

The Card Strike board will display a certain number of cards selected at random, and you’ll have a fixed number of hands to complete it. The number of allotted hands changes based on the board size and game type.

If you fail to cross out all the cards on the board within the specified number of hands, a new board will appear, and you’ll have to start again. If, however, you get rid of all 16 cards, you’ll get your shot at a prize.

Players are also allowed to reset the board manually and start again if they’re not happy with the progress. However, the reset option only becomes available after playing 10 hands.

Spin the Card Strike Wheel to Win Prizes

Every time you complete the board, you’ll get one spin on the Card Strike Wheel, which will determine your prize. All prizes are offered as immediate bonuses that are added to the player’s account within 72 hours of winning.

Bonus amounts offered on the Wheel will differ depending on the stakes. Someone completing the board playing 200NL will have a shot at much bigger prizes than someone playing 2NL. The largest single prize available through the Card Strike promo is $25,000.

Once you receive the bonus, you’ll need to play through it only once before you’re allowed to cash it out. Players have 90 days to complete this simple playthrough requirement.

Card Strike Strategy: Is There Any?

The WSOP Online Card Strike promo gives you a chance to add some fun to your daily play and have a shot at some extra cash. But poker players are known for their strategic way of thinking, so this question often pops up on forums and social media: Is there any strategy for Card Strike?

While there have been some attempts at churning the numbers, the only real decision you have is whether to reset the board after ten hands. However, the number of board cards and hand attempts isn’t fixed, i.e., it changes.

So, at this point, the best strategic advice is to play the game as you normally would and don’t worry too much about the Card Strike board.

If you have zero hits after the first ten hands, it’s safe to reset, because there is no way to do worse. Otherwise, keep on playing, and if you play enough blocks, you’re bound to complete a few boards along the way and pick up some prizes.
