Our mid-19th century farmhouse, cottage, and event barn have been revitalized with design insights from renowned architect Peter Bohlin and the meticulous skill of Pennsylvania Amish craftsmen to create a truly unique gathering place. Guests enjoy total solitude on the secluded 193 acres, yet the farm is only 10 minutes away from Interstate 84, historic Milford, PA, and Port Jervis, NY, with easy access from New York City via train, bus, or car. We specialize in long-format weddings, where one couple has exclusive venue access for a full weekend and can have their rehearsal dinner, brunch, or other side events at no additional charge. Overnight lodging for up to 16 guests and professional month-of coordination are included in every package!“Sylvan Ridge Farm was the first venue my husband and I toured last year, and while we liked it, we weren’t sure exactly what we wanted then and kept looking around. Many months and many other venue tours later, we came back to Sylvan Ridge and realized it was exactly what we were looking for. Luckily, they still had one date available this year, and we were able to book it. We rented the farmhouse and barn for the wedding and the night before only, but if there had been time, we would have loved to book it for longer, to take advantage of the pool, hot tub, fire pit, and hiking trails around the property. As it was, having the afternoon and evening before the wedding to set up and decorate the barn was perfect. The newly-reconstructed barn is gorgeous. The stone fireplace, impressive woodwork, and iron chandeliers make the space feel fancy yet cozy, and whether you’re having a micro-wedding or one with over 100 guests, the size of the barn never feels too big or too small. It’s the perfect balance of rustic and chic, and you can dress it up as much as you want. It’s great to have the ceremony, co*cktail hour, and reception locations all in one place so that nothing is too spread out. We loved how friendly the space felt, since we were looking for a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests, and the barn at Sylvan Ridge definitely delivered! The renovated farmhouse is beautiful, with a plethora of getting-ready spaces and lounge areas for all your friends and family. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and there are so many little detailed touches in each room that show how much love and care the owners, Linnea and Alec, put into the place. The cottage is also adorable. Linnea was so friendly and accommodating, always answering our emails clearly and promptly. She was super flexible and let us set up our DIY wedding exactly the way we liked, with everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. While we did not add Sara’s coordination services, she gave us a tour twice and also set up times for us to visit with our vendors, and she was the event manager on the day of our wedding. Sara was so sweet and a joy to work with; as the bride, I missed most of the setup that day, but my friends and family all told me she was amazing. She set up the ceremony chairs for us and even helped me bustle my dress before the reception. Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful. It was mostly sunny, with a little sprinkle of rain, and the natural backdrop of the grounds was gorgeous in both kinds of weather. Many of our guests were amazed by the beauty of the venue and how private and conveniently located it is. Our day was perfect and it wouldn’t have been possible without Sylvan Ridge Farm and the awesome people who work there. If you’re considering booking, don’t hesitate! There’s no need to look anywhere else!”Han, 2 years agoQuick responderInn At ChuronWinery5.0 Temecula, CAUp to 300 guestsAll-inclusiveIndoor & outdoorStarts at $7,500 Inn at Churon Winery is a wedding venue located in Temecula, CA. We cannot possibly thank the team at Churon enough for the magic that they created on our wedding day. We would highly encourage all considering Churon to cease their search. Churon has everything you could imagine and more.We chose Churon Winery as our venue for so many reasons, and Meilee, the venue coordinator, was one of the main reasons. Meilee cares so much about her couples as her clients. She is attentive to every detail, exceptionally responsive, accommodating to ideas, and so very kind. She is knowledgeable and does not leave any detail untouched. She gave us a great deal of confidence that we were in good hands. And, she gets the job done above and beyond what we could have expected.Churon’s staff is so kind. From Danni in the wine tasting room to Julie’s welcome at the front desk to Chef Enrique and his entire staff to Paola and her housekeeping team. Our stay was a delight. All guests receive a free glass of wine upon check in where they are welcomed by the best tasting staff. The rooms are a dream and easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. Paola keeps the rooms immaculate. You walk in and think you are walking into a room in Tuscany, Italy. The hot air balloons rise every morning and this is visible from right outside the rooms. Our guests got to enjoy this sight with coffee on their balcony or on the inn terrace each morning. Breakfast is complimentary each morning of your stay and this breakfast outdoes any breakfast: eggs benedict, croissant sandwiches, omelets, orange juice and mimosas, and so much more. Our guests could not believe the service. Staying onsite was a lovely touch as we all had the morning to enjoy ourselves before the ceremony.Chef Enrique outdid himself with the food for the reception. Guests raved about the food. He clearly takes pride in his recipes. He even makes his own Chardonnay dressing for the salads! We also had a delightful time at our tasting. The venue itself is a vision. From the gazebo where you say “I do” to the many vineyards that sit in the distance to the market lights lighting the reception area. Each part of the evening has its own section, so the flow of the day is flawless. Set up and take down was also flawless. Continue your celebration in our Grand Ballroom adorned with crystal chandeliers, window lined walls, and an expansive dance floor. Ashton Gardens | West Houston can accommodate up to 300 of your family and friends.“Oh my goodness. Where do I begin? Firstly the venue itself is gorgeous. We had a large party and they were very accommodating to a large Nigerian wedding. My husband and I are pretty frugal so we splurged on some things and went cheap for others. We didn’t have the best experience in the beginning with Andrea to be honest. She was pretty hands off. Never scheduled follow up meetings and would take days to respond to my questions. I was regretting my choice until we were switched to a different planner named Sheilah. We didn’t request for a switch so it was even a surprise to us hearing about her promotion in the company. Now Sheilah was AMAZING. She would schedule follow up meetings. She would answer allllll my questions expeditiously. She was kind and warm and friendly. She and her team (Ana and Sydney) saved the venue for us. I can’t even thank her enough. If you are using this venue you really need someone like her to advocate for you. The photographer Kristin was also amazing! My goodness. I had my doubts again but upon meeting her and working with her I would give her a 10/10. Very thorough and organized. She even helped my awkward posing lol. You can’t go wrong with the cake either. My bridesmaids loved the cake so much she packed some in a bag for her to eat late lolll. I’m so grateful to have chosen this venue. I couldn’t be more pleased with super my wedding went this past weekend. Thank you Sheilah, Sydney and Anna for a phenomenal job.”Blessing O., a month agoQuick responderVault6345.0 Allentown, PAUp to 175 guestsAll-inclusiveIndoorStarts at $15,000 The Gilded Age roars on at Vault 634. Located in the historic Lehigh Valley Trust Building in the heart of the Queen City, the great era of hope and prosperity was carefully preserved within its marble and gold halls. In 2018, a multimillion-dollar renovation fully restored the property’s historic integrity and implemented all the luxurious amenities that couples look for in a modern venue and transition it into a canvas for truly stunning events. We understand that every vision is unique. To better serve you, the team at Vault 634 combines their expertise to create bespoke event details carefully selected to make your dream wedding a reality.“Choosing Vault 634 was one of if not the best decisions we made planning our wedding. Eric and Jared are so wonderful to work with - accommodating, helpful, kind, and truly experts at what they do. Eric was on top of every detail throughout the day, down to the dietary restrictions of each guest. Do yourself a favor and follow all of Eric's design recommendations because he is truly an artist. He helped with color choices, floral piece locations, and so much more, I am so thankful for his expertise. Not only is the whole staff team wonderful and attentive, but the venue is absolutely stunning and needs little to no decor as Vault graciously allows you to use their candelabras, votive candles, a ton of tablecloth/ runner options and more. One of the many things I loved about Vault 634 is that they do not try to nickel and dime you like other venues I visited. There weren't any silly upcharges, and I didn't have to worry about any unexpected fees. I looked at a few other venues and none of them even came close to how beautiful Vault is. In addition to their stunning Gatsby styled bank-turned-wedding venue, their location is only a short walk from a wonderful 4-star hotel, the Renaissance, who we also had a great experience with. If you needed another reason to book with Vault 634, you will save money on shuttles (don't need one!) and florals (the venue alone is stunning enough!). They also have a list of preferred vendors on their website and everyone who they recommended was perfect (we booked our photographer, florist, DJ and dessert vendors through them.) Lastly, the food was delicious! I have been to many weddings where the food is what you would expect when catering a large event - typically a little dry and bland. That was not the case at all with Vault. The kitchen staff are wizards making sure each plate is not only fresh, flavorful, and delicious, but also gorgeously presented and carefully curated. They have so many wonderful options, it was hard to choose because everything was cooked to perfection. They are also extremely flexible with your food offerings so you can truly have the menu of your dreams. I could go on and on about how wonderful Vault is but do yourself a favor and just book them! We are in our late 20's and in the time of our lives where a lot of our friends are getting married. That being said, our friends have been to multiple weddings just in the past year and many of them remarked how this was the best wedding they have ever been to. Even months later, our guests are still talking about how wonderful of a time they had and so are we! Truly the best day of our lives, thank you Vault for making our dreams come true!”Allyson H., 5 months agoQuick responderEvergreenFarms5.0 Dayville, CTUp to 150 guestsSelect servicesIndoor & outdoorStarts at $3,000 Are you envisioning a wedding surrounded by the warmth of a modern barn, the charm of rustic details, and the natural beauty of a 5-acre tree farm? They were beyond helpful through the entire wedding process (we planned this from out of state AND with a 4 hour time difference) and they went above and beyond from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely love what they do and have put their entire heart into making this venue as gorgeous as it is.We also hosted our Rehearsal Dinner here as well - I HIGHLY recommend doing both days if you have the chance. It was a blast setting up all day and basking in how beautiful the venue is.A favorite part for both of us were the bride and groom suites. There is a TON of mirror space for the girls, outlet plugs all over to accommodate the excessive amount of heating tools and phones we had plugged in, and gorgeous lighting for the makeup. The men had a nicely sized tv to accommodate for their football games that were on as well. 12/10.We cannot recommended this venue ENOUGH! We absolutely loved it and know you will, too. Special shoutout to Tito (our HERO on the wedding day/rehearsal), Sierra, DJ Sean, and of course the countless behind-the-scenes staff members that made the day possible.Planning process: Everyone we interacted with was extremely personable, understanding, and made you feel at ease. The people we worked with (mostly Sierra and Tito) were detail-oriented; they helped us remember the little details leading up to the day. Pricing was transparent. Wedgewood allowed us to customize as much or as little as we wanted; we never felt pressured or judged to remove/add customizations through the last meeting. The recommended vendors were also professional and great to work with.Day of the wedding: As mentioned above, Tito was the man (Wedgewood should give him a raise)! He helped with the rehearsal, setup, and went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure things went smoothly. The venue staff made sure my husband and I ate well, had drinks in our hands, etc and overall were having a good time. Our DJ that Wedgewood recommended (Sean) was extremely amazing to work with – he truly listened to our vision, from the planning process to the day-of, and kept the party going; our guests had a blast and loved Sean. About wedding venues

How much do wedding & reception venues cost?

The cost of wedding venues varies, with factors influencing cost including size, location, guest count, and, most importantly, whether things like catering and rentals are included. The more a reception venue near you includes, the higher the cost. When considering venues, try to compare prices apples-to-apples. If one venue includes catering and rentals in their pricing and the other doesn’t, you need to figure out how much additional cost those outside vendors would be to make a true comparison. Before booking, be sure you’re aware of additional costs outlined in your contract, like parking fees and weather-related considerations (adding a tent, etc.).

What questions should we ask wedding venues?

When talking with a potential venue, always ask about 1) their availability and 2) their capacity. Some popular venues book up peak season Saturdays nearly 2 years in advance—if your first choice date isn’t available, consider your flexibility on day of the week and year. While maximum capacity is non-negotiable, venues might have guidance on what guest count will be most comfortable. Also, you’ll want to understand what is and is not included in the venue’s fees. Some include catering, tables and chairs, and linens, while others offer just the raw space. These venues are often less expensive because you are only paying for the space itself, and you’ll have to bring in outside vendors
