Big changes are coming to Arizona Cardinals games for the 2024 season. You've probably heard about the excitement surrounding the team's new class of rookies, which includes wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. But upgrades aren't limited to on the field. The food and beverage team at State Farm Stadium is introducing a massive lineup of new food options for the 2024 Arizona Cardinals football season, ranging from a cotton candy burrito to a meatball hoagie on a stick.
"We're very well aware this is an Instagram world," said Craft Culinary Concepts executive chef Sean Kavanaugh. He expects the cotton candy burrito to be one of the social media favorites this season. But he's also personally excited about the "Dog-a-dilla," which he said is the brainchild of his executive sous chef Leo Tijerina.
In addition to the new menu items from the stadium's preexisting food and beverage vendors, there are also seven brand new restaurant options making their Arizona Cardinals debut this season, including Spinato's Pizzeria, Scoopwell's Dough Bar, Barrio Queen, Kaizen, Amelia's by EAT, Heritage at Sportsman's Park and Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar.
Jeremy Walls, Chief Operating Officer for the Arizona Cardinals, said the addition of the new restaurants are part of a greater effort to revitalize the stadium, starting with the concourse level this year. He said the organization has specifically sought out additional food vendors offering gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options at the stadium, which is "something the fans have been asking for."
Here is a look at over 50 new menu items that will be available at State Farm Stadium in 2024.
Craft Culinary Concepts
Craft Culinary Concepts, the main food and beverage program at State Farm Stadium, is introducing the following new items at concession stands around the stadium:
- Chicken and waffle sandwich: Fried chicken, maple chive butter, deep-fried honey hot pimento cheese bites and a fried pickle between two waffles. Available in sections 102, 127, 129, 408 and 420.
- Flaming Hot Cheeto chicken tenders: Chicken tenders coated in Tostitos Nacho cheese sauce and crushed Flaming Hot Cheetos, with a side of dill pickles. Available in sections 102, 127, 129, 408 and 420.
- Nutty Asian salad: Napa cabbage, kale, red cabbage, carrots, edamame, cucumber, Mandarin oranges, cashews, fried rice noodles and sesame ginger dressing. Vegan, but with an option to add chicken. Available in sections 103, 125, 220 and 227.
- Meatball hoagie on a stick: Two large meatballs on a stick intertwined with hoagie dough and covered in parmesan cheese with a side of marinara sauce. Available in sections 119, 406 and 437.
- Vegan vegetable summer rolls: Seasonal vegetables and rice noodles wrapped in rice paper with sweet Thai chili sauce. Available in sections 103, 125 and 220.
- Macho Nachos: Tortilla chips topped with ground beef, salsa, cheese, sour cream, black olives, guacamole and jalapeños, served in a souvenir Arizona Cardinals football bowl. Available in sections 119, 406, 437 and 452.
There are also several items from Craft Culinary Concepts that will be available only on the club level. They include:
- Cotton candy burrito: Cotton candy flavored ice cream and Fruity Pebbles, Froot Loops, marshmallows, Skittles, mini-M&Ms, gummy bears and sprinkles in a cotton candy shell. Available in sections 222 and 247.
- Vegan, gluten-free pizza: Cauliflower crust topped with cilantro onion pesto sauce, vegan cheese and cream, pickled red onions and smoked jackfruit birria. Available in sections 209 and 240.
- Vienna beef jalapeño cheddar dog-a-dilla: Option of a juicy Vienna beef jalapeño cheddar sausage topped with sharp cheddar cheese, crema and scallions inside a pressed tortilla; or, a Vienna beef jalapeño cheddar sausage topped with beef birria, Oaxaca cheese, cilantro, onions, chili, shredded cheddar and diced onions. Available in section 227.
- Vegan buffalo cauliflower bites: Bite-sized cauliflower chunks topped with tangy buffalo sauce and a side of zesty chipotle aioli. Available in sections 213, 235 and 247.
- Vienna beef jalapeño baked pretzel dog: Vienna beef jalapeño cheddar sausage wrapped in Ben's pretzel dough. Available in section 220.
- Big AZ chicken taquito: Shredded chicken and sharp cheddar cheese in a large, rolled tortilla and served with fresh salsa. Available in sections 213, 235 and 247.
- Red chili parmesan chicken tenders: Chicken tenders coated in red chili parmesan garlic sauce. Available in section 247.
Spinato's Pizzeria
Spinato's Pizzeria is located at sections 113, 132, 416 and 440 at State Farm Stadium. They offer pepperoni and cheese 8-inch pizzas, an Italian beef sandwich, cheesy garlic bread, a Caesar salad, brownie bites and a new signature Arizona Cardinals RedZone pizza topped with signature sauce, mozzarella, Canadian bacon, roasted bell peppers, pepperoncini and Spinato's special spinach sauce.
Scoopwell's Dough Bar
Scoopwell's Dough Bar is located at sections 118, 424, 222 and 247 at State Farm Stadium. They offer sweet treats such as peanut butter squares topped with chocolate butterscotch fudge; a cookie sundae comprised of a warm chocolate chip cookie topped with an ice cream flavor of your choice; an ice cream sandwich made with fresh-baked cookies; and 50/50, which is two scoops of cookie dough and two scoops of ice cream.
Barrio Queen
Barrio Queen is located at section 135 inside State Farm Stadium. New menu options include a three-taco combo, "OMG" birria sandwich, walking tacos, Barrio guacamole and dessert nachos topped with cinnamon sugar, Mexican chocolate, whipped cream and strawberries.
Kaizen
Kaizen is located at sections 136, 217 and 240 at State Farm Stadium, offering gluten-free California rolls, a spicy tuna poke bowl, salmon poke bowl, Kaizen poke bowl, short rib bao buns, hibachi bowl and a yakisoba bowl.
There are also two unique Arizona Cardinals sushi rolls: the Cardinals roll with spicy crab, cucumber, panko shrimp, spicy tuna, black Masago and spicy mayo; and the Big Red roll with Big Eye tuna, panko fried shrimp, spicy crab mix, cucumber, avocado and jalapeño cilantro.
Amelia's by EAT
Amelia's by EAT is located in sections 222 and 247 at State Farm Stadium and offers several gluten-free options: lemon bars, salted chocolate chip cookies and brown butter rice crispy treats.
Heritage at Sportsman's Park
Heritage at Sportsman's Park is located at section 137 at State Farm Stadium. Menu items are also available in sections 406, 437 and 452. They offer a Sonoran dog and brisket sliders.
Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar
Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar is located in section 113 and offers fried mac and cheese and Flanker's wings.
Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers
Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers is located in sections 109 and 444 at State Farm Stadium, offering an All-American burger topped with American cheese, lettuce, tomato and pickles and a 1000 Island burger topped with provolone cheese, pickles, lettuce and 1000 Island dressing.
Honey Bears
Honey Bears is located in sections 104 and 203. New menu items include a hot link sandwich, loaded fries, loaded mac and cheese, a fried shrimp basket and a fried okra basket.
Lola's Tacos
Lola's Tacos is located at sections 127, 211 and 434. New menu items include the Lola bowl, made with rice, pinto beans, cilantro, onions, salsa and either carne asada or chicken; and Mexican style elote, which comprises corn on the cob covered with Mexican crema, chili lime powder, lime juice, salty cotija cheese and optional crushed Flaming Hot Cheetos.
Pork on a Fork
Pork on a Fork is located at section 127 at State Farm Stadium. This season, they'll offer a loaded baked potato and Big Red mac and cheese topped with smoked barbecue brisket or pork, nacho cheese and Hot Cheeto dust.
How to visit State Farm Stadium
The NFL preseason begins on Saturday, Aug 10 with the Cardinals first game facing the New Orleans Saints at State Farm Stadium at 5 p.m.
The first regular season home game at State Farm Stadium will take place Sunday, Sept. 15 at 1:05 p.m. against the Los Angeles Rams.
