2009 SEASON (Junior)
All-Pac-10 Second Team / NFCA All-Region Team. For the third straight season, was one of team's top power-speed threats and continued her assualt on the Oregon all-time record books. Tied Oregon game and Pac-10 season high in stolen bases (4) vs. Wichita State the opening weekend of the season. Had three more games with multiple steals vs. Texas Tech, Southern Utah and No. 12 California - the latter of which was a 7-0 win over the eventual Super Regional qualifier. Ended season ranked 28th nationally in stolen bases per average (0.54).The centerfielder was one of nine fielders (and another pitcher) in the Pac-10 that had perfect fielding percentages (1.000) - and had the third-most chances among those players.The team's repeat Offensive MVP award winner's team-best season average (.314) ranked 25th in the Pac-10. Also paced squad in a host of other offensive categories, including total bases (84), slugging (.538), hits (49), triples (3), RBIs (28), stolen bases (27), multiple-hit games (13), hitting streaks (9), home runs (8-tied) and and runs (24-tied). In early season tourneys, hit .471 in Kajikawa Classic in Tempe (8-for-17, 2 RBI, 8 stolen bases), .438 in the Louisvile Slugger Classic in Las Vegas (7-for-16, 1 triple 1 home run, 7 RBI, 2 stolen bases), .421 in the San Diego Classic (.8-for-19, 1 double, 1 home run, 2 RBI) and .500 in Wolf Pack Tournament in Reno(5-for-10, 3 doubles, 3 RBI). Had the next two longest hit streaks (7), thanks to her season-opening stretch and a second one in the in heart of Pac-10 slate vs. five NCAA qualifiers - No. 4 Washington, No. 3 UCLA, Portland State and No. 2 Stanford - four of which ranked five nationally at that point. Claimed career highs in RBIs (4) in game at No. 11 Arizona when she clubbed a three-run seventh-inning home run and run-scoring triple in the third inning. Had three, three-hit road games during the season vs. Wichita State (3-for-5, 2 RBI, 2 runs, double, 4 stolen bases), Southern Mississippi (3-for-3, 4 RBI, 1 run, 1 triple, 1 stolen base) and Portland State (3-for-4, 1 RBI, 1 triple, 1 home run, 1 stolen base). One of three Ducks that started all 50 games, and the only one to do so at the same position.Entered season as a USA Softball Top 50 Player Watch List pick, and after campaign, was alsoinvited to the U.S. National Team Selection Camp after season.
2008 SEASON (Sophom*ore)
All-Pac-10 Second Team. Enters junior season after one of greatest opening two-year stretches by a Duck hitter. Ranks ninth all-time for Oregon in career stolen bases (37), and will likely join other all-time lists as a junior in home runs (20, 1 away), RBIs (92, 2 away), doubles (24, 6 away) and potentially also hits (122, 63 away). As a sophom*ore was team’s Offensive MVP and Player of Year and continued to polish her play as one of the Pac-10’s most complete players. At end of regular season, ranked top 10 in the league in stolen bases (fifth, 22), RBIs (sixth, 45), hits (eighth, 62) and total bases (eighth, 102). One of three Ducks to start all 64 games, she led the team in batting (.330), slugging (.536), hits (64), home runs (10) and multi-hit games (16), and ranked second in on-base pct. (.351), doubles (10) and runs (28) and third in steals (23). In critical final weekend of regular season, went 2-3 with RBI in 3-0 season-ending win vs. No. 24 Washington, and belted homer vs. Huskies the day before. Had 10-game hitting streak in heart of Pac-10 slate to go along with 11-, eight- and six-game streaks in months prior. Best tourneys of the year included the eight-game Cascade Clash (.652, 15-for-23, 4 doubles, 5 home runs, 14 RBI, 6 stolen bases) and two Las Vegas tourneys in February (.500, 8-for-16, 1 double, 1 home, 5 RBI, 2 stolen bases) and March (.500, 8-for-16, 4 runs, 1 home run, 5 RBI). Belted team season-high two home runs in 7-3 win vs. UC Davis – part of a five-homer barrage in six-game stretch in the Cascade Clash that also included shots vs. Northern Illinois, Mississippi Valley State and Idaho State. Also bagged homers vs. Cal State Northridge, San Jose State, Southern Utah and No. 8 Arizona. Had a season-high three hits vs. South Carolina (3-for-4) and Idaho State (3-for-3). Knocked in a season-high 3 RBIs vs. Arizona, UC Davis and Northern Illinois. Had a season-high three stolen bases in James Madison. Led team in trip to No. 8 Arizona and No. 1 Arizona State at plate (3-for-9) and had the game-winning RBI single in UO’s 2-1 win at UA – its first win in Tucson since 1989. In the field, posted a .947 fielding mark (with only 3 errors), and registered 49 putouts and five assists – the latter tied for tops among outfielders with Kayleen Hudson – and threw out the would-be tying run in 2-1 win over Oregon State.
2007 SEASON (Freshman)
All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention. Owned one of team’s top combinations of power and speed and immediately staked a starting role in right field. Ended season in its fifth spot in the batting lineup, and was the only Duck to have a pair of four-hit games. Had 13 multiple RBI games, three of which she had four RBIs, and three more in which she had three RBIs. Ranked top five on team in doubles (second, 14), home runs (third, 10), slugging percentage (third, .553), RBIs (third, 46), total bases (third, 104), at-bats (third, 188), hits (fourth, 58), runs (fourth, 40). Had two six-game hitting streaks during season, including one to wrap up the Pac-10 season that extended into the first two games of the NCAA tourney. Had 15 multiple-hit games during season, including a 4-4 day vs. St. Mary’s (4-4). The other performance – the second-most hits in a game in school history – came vs. Oregon State (4-4, 1 run, 2 doubles, 1 RBI) and helped UO win the Civil War season series and clinch the all-sports Civil War trophy for the athletic department. The week before in mid-April, connected on UO’s first grand slam of the season in 11-1 win over Portland State. Added another grand slam in the third inning vs. No. 9 Arizona State to cap home slate with a 6-5 win. Other top efforts at the plate came vs. Siena (3-4, 3 runs, 1 double, 1 triple, 1 home run, 1 RBI), Seton Hall (2-3, double, walk, 2 RBI), No. 23 Georgia (2-4, 3 RBI, home run) and a doubleheader vs. South Dakota State (4-6, 3 runs, 1 RBI, 1 home run), and back-to-back-game games vs. Oregon State (3-7, 3 RBI, 2 doubles). Also had homers vs. Syracuse, UCLA, Utah State and Utah Valley State.
HIGH SCHOOL
Bryant was named the 2005 Player of the Year at El Dorado High School in Placentia, Calif. The four-year letter-winning center fielder also earned first team all-state, all-league and all-county honors. She hit .439 with six doubles, four triples, 19 runs scored and 22 RBI in her senior season. Bryant played for the Corona Angels Gold Club team for four years, highlighted by fifth place finishes in 2004 and 2005. Selected to the 2006 Junior Women’s Pan American Qualifier.
